Advisory Committees

Contract Decision Makers

All HPS contract decisions, including recommendations for bidding and negotiations and contract awards, are made by 11 different advisory committees, which are made up of volunteer Members.

Using Member-driven committees ensures we are getting the best input from those who know what’s happening in their fields, what trends are developing, what legislation is coming, what works and what will pave the way.

The committee network, representing professionals from all areas within HPS Member facilities, takes a proactive role in ensuring each of our contracts addresses the four main areas of concern our Members deal with on a daily basis:

  • Financial Viability

  • Staff Efficiency

  • Regulatory Compliance

  • Members' Clients (residents, students, patients, visitors, etc.) Satisfaction/Engagement/Usage

Benefits of being part of an HPS Committee:

  • Provides networking with peers

  • Gives you a voice on contracting decisions

  • Allows you to interact with our Contracts team

Each of the HPS advisory committees meets approximately three to four times per year at either the HPS office, a Member facility or via conference call.
